[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

We do a lot of running. Figure it's better to be able to breath once we reach the actual danger.

[She smirks a bit before waving her hand.]

Nowhere special. And it's not like you can tell now, thanks to the clerics.

Saving the world pretty much means you get shot at every time you're out in the field.

[ He nods. ]

I heard someone once say women dig scars. I guess in your case maybe guys dig scars? Unless women dig scars? I dunno. I don't wanna offend or assume. Someone woulda dug those scars.

[ Now he's floundering. ]

[She laughs softly, maliciously just mostly because:]

[But that being said ... ]

For the record, I'm equal opportunity. But I personally am not a fan of scars, especially bullet wounds, so I'm more than happy to let the clerics heal them away.

[ Steve smiles, but it's more confused than anything else. He's smiling though and that's good. At least for right now. ]

That must make meeting potential dates easy. [ He frowns for a moment. ] Sorry. I heal a little better than most. Also takes a little more to make me bleed. Do the clerics patch up everyone?

Yep - they're in the Dragon's Light. They've got a whole wing at their disposal.

[ Steve looks more than a little surprise. ]

So it's pretty much instant healing through--magic?

[She nods.]

Clerics are ... kind of like faith healers. Their gods grant them the gift of healing magic so long as they use it for good in their god's name. They can do ... pretty spectacular work depending on their skill.
