[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

I've always had magic, as long as I can remember, as least, but this is new to me, too. I wear from flowers to healing to this cool shield. [ which fades from existence in the middle of her sentence. ] Which I can't keep up very long, yet.

[Nodding, Myri reaches for Elena's hand and moves to follow the motion within her womb. It's not long before there's a strong kick against Elena's palm.]

I think she wants to say hello.

Oh my god. [ She straightens up quickly at that. ] I— I'm sorry, I had no idea.

Terrible. Which is exactly why I'd be trying to get to know them so I could get them back instead of wallowing.

"Sounds like a great name for a Bond villain who's German." Yeah that's what she's going with. "No that makes sense. But are we talking fifty percent great and fifty percent terrible, or are the percentages not that even?"

She laughs a little at the snack mention. "I haven't actually ripped anyone to shreds on the full moon, so you're safe from being a snack. Or just dead. Plus, who else would I have entertaining conversations with?" She replies with a small smirk.

Andrew. [She replies as she glances back to her screen then back up to Skye.] He's -- capable? I think. We've gone over a few things, but it's sort of weird having a mentor in general. I'm not used to it. It feels a bit like high school when you're given a guidance counselor, but you don't want to talk to them about what's really going on... so you make stuff up so that it seems like you need them, but really you're just hoping they write you a good recommendation for college.

[witchwoman]

I'm not sure if that's how the world works, Des. [Well, isn't this a turn. There was a time when Myri had nothing but optimism in how good things would come if they fought for them. Now, all she sees is the pain. She won't stop fighting, but she's less certain that a better life is coming.]

[witchwoman]

[Myri manages a small smile. Buffy has been so good through all of this. It's strange to think over the course of their friendship, how some things change but others remain so very much the same.]

You've always taken care of me. I don't think I could ever thank you enough.

What sort of thing? The waiting?

Before I became a knight, I captained a ship. [He says with a nod.]

I miss it from time to time, but I have my ship still, so if I ever have the itch, it's well within reach.

[procurer]

[ He makes a face. ] With my luck, I'd probably just get turned into a frog or something instead. Magic and I don't seem to mix well. Or too well. Neither one seems all that healthy, in the long run.

[ Which has him casting a curious glance in her direction. ] You seem pretty passionate about it, though.

[procurer]

[ Nick's gaze lights up like that, like Thoster just said a magic word. ] Really? What kind? And it came here with you? Or are you one of the ones who's lived here all along? [ He's heard by now that this is also a thing. ]

[procurer]

"Depends on how much alcohol or other substances you'd had beforehand," he snickers, popping another bite in his mouth with a smirk. "And come on. Pretty girl like you? You can't tell me I'm the only one you've found entertaining around here. Although I know, I'm hard to compete with. It's a hardship."

Sailed right through the Veil with her. [He laughs.] I've got her docked and ready to sail at a moments notice, if you're up for a trip?

Not all of us. [He says sort of grumbly, even though he totally considers himself a nerd. He just hates being called one before people even know him.]

There's all types. Bookish. Tech. Weapon mods. I mean it's not just any one thing.

...Space?! [He missed this memo]

You're telling me you're a talking raccoon named Rocket and you come from space. Jesus, next you'll tell me you've met little green men.

Probably. Not that he's done anything to be especially relevant lately. Too busy counting his money, I guess.

[airforceful]

I can take you there. [There's a flash of soft light as her costume transforms back intop what she was wearing before putting it on--in this case, a tank top and stretchy work-out pants.] I was gonna finish my morning workout there anyway.

No! I was just-! [He sighs.]

Someone told me there are some rec rooms around here. I thought they mentioned it being down this hall.

I'm surprised I even found it, then. I've been getting turned around for the past few days.

[She tilts her head.] Hard to say. There's a lot that's different about this world than anything else I've experienced. The memory loss aspect, for one thing, and how ingrained the idea of people showing up here and never going home is.

[He puts his phone number in and hands her phone back. What a good way to get a superhero's number, Skye.]
