[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

It varies. [He grins cheekily over at her, and then tries to do kind of particularly impressive move and... crit fails, the blade slipping out of his hand, while he jumps back to avoid getting stabbed in the foot.] So do you grease the handles on these in your spare time or what?

Quiet. [ she works her jaw back and forth a second, folding her arms ] Still not sure if I like that or not.

After everything we've been through? Quiet sounds like an invitation for the other shoe to drop. [he shrugs.] But it's still been kinda nice, despite the fact that the looming threat's still out there... looming.

I take it you've been enjoying that whole marital bliss thing, or whatever.

Every second of it. [cheeky grin.] It hasn't been all Sunday morning brunch and long walks through Central Park at sunset, if that makes you feel any better. I have other interests besides marriage still. Just in case you're worried.

Cars that people don't crash into semis, and don't look like abominations. [What did you expect from him, Kat. AT LEAST HE CAN JOKE ABOUT IT NOW. HE IS NO LONGER IN MOURNING. AFTER... almost two years.] Also, I read, which, incidentally, I did learn how to do a few hundred years ago.

[she's definitely still mad. he sighs.] I told her I wasn't going anywhere. If she needed me, she could call, and I'd come. She seemed pleased as punch with that, which is something because she admitted she was pissed at me for leaving. [do you know how hard it is to get Myri mad at you...] Better this than what I originally planned. Remember all that? "When this is over, I walk, and you never see me again." [he shrugs one shoulder.] I do.
