[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[ girls rule, boys drool pm. vi will just keep lazily petting her with one hand will she digs the other hands into the grass to continue growing flowers in the garden. multitasking at it's laziest. ]

[ Venus shifted closer to nuzzle against on of Vi's legs. Yes, she likes this girl, and speaking of smelly boys...

Mars finally seemed to come out of no where. Looking about like he was lost, before looking over at Vi and Venus.]

There you are.

[ vi's head pops up and as her concentration breaks, all of the tiny buds she was trying to grow bigger burst into equally tiny blooms, a blanket of pale purple wild flowers across the garden beds. ]

Did I steal your familiar? [ she can tell by the way venus reacted to her comments, she's a little bit more intelligent than a regular house cat. ] I think she can smell the cat nip I was picking earlier.

[ Mars couldn't help but smile seeing the flowers burst into color. They were beautiful. He didn't come much closer, keeping a respectable distance.]

I would more think she stole you. Venus loves people in general, namely those who show her affection. The catnip likely helped. [ He chuckled some.] I was just worried she had gotten into trouble, she's not bothering you right?

[ Venus looked over with the sassiest cat look she could, before returning to nuzzling at Vi. She doesn't care what her human pet thinks on the matter.]

Nah, she's fine. She's very friendly. You're... Dragon's Fire, right? I think I've seen you around that wing before.

[ it's not one she frequents, but sometimes she's just gotta find kat or alainn. ]

Yeah, That's where I belong.

[ He wasn't sure if he phrased that right. It was odd to really belong anywhere. Still, it was nice.]

I sadly don't know you, I'm Mars though, its nice to meet you, her name's Venus.

Vi, nice to meet you, too. [ she pets the cat again, adding, ] Nice to meet you, too, Venus.

[ Venus purrs a little more, yes she understands and she's chiming in in her own way.]

I'll take that as she's happy to meet you to. You don't need any help with this do you? [ He motioned to the garden, since its very clear she's pregnant and well, he's bad with people.]

Oh, no, I've got it. You're welcome to hang out though.

[ he spoke and smiled moving to sit somewhere safe, he didn't wanna crush any flowers, but it's clear Venus is very happy where she is.]

No problemo. So how long you been here, Mars?

A year, a little more really. [ he admitted as he watched Venus being cute over by Vi.] And you?

Two and a half, I think, give or take a few months.

That's quite awhile. So, its likely foreward and rude, are you having a boy or girl?

It's neither, and she's a girl. Lucia.

That's a beautiful name.

[ He spoke with a slight smile.]

Thanks. I thought so. [ she snickers a little, because duh, why else would she name her baby that if she didn't like it. ]

Well, yeah that makes sense since you choose it.

[ Shaking his head a little, that was silly of him.

He looked over to watch Venus finally moving around to play in the flowers around her. She seemed to know to be careful not to hurt the plants.]

I try to bring her out once a day anytime I'm actually here. She loves the sun.

She's a sweetheart. If you want, I can take her out when you're out on missions. I'm a pretty good catsitter.

[ Venus looked up and mewed, looking right to Vi.]

Well, I think she just said yes, I have to admit that would be awesome. Sometimes me and Adam are sent out at the same time.

Yeah, no problem.

[ Mars looked down at Venus and chuckled a bit.]

Someone's hungry, I had better take her to her lunch. It was nice meeting you Vi.

[ He spoke, kneeling as Venus padded over so he could lift her.]

Yeah, you too, Mars. And you, Venus. It was very nice to meet you. See you around!

[ Picking Venus up he offered Vi a smile and nodded.]

Yeah, see you soon. Take care.

[ And off he goes.]
