[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

What if you're the sea lion though? [ what if she leans over and gently "bites" his shoulder. chomp chomp. she's really just pantomiming it and looking up at him with wide eyes. ]

[he doesn't move away, because:] You think I'm a sea lion?

You do have whiskers.

[he makes a face like wtf child.] I have stubble. And not even that much.

Sharks are sleek and smooth, like me.

[ambitionist]

Yeah? What's this, then? [he ruffles her hair with his hand again.]

That is also sleek and smooth. [ 'cause she uses garnier sleek and smooth tbh. ]

I don't see any little blonde sharks swimming around, though.

[felidity]

I could swim with sharks, I can hold my breath for a very long time.

[ambitionist]

Okay, fine, you win. You're the sharkiest. Please don't turn on me and eat me.

[felidity]

[ she "chomps" again, giggling. ] I promise.

[ambitionist]

All the boy and girl sea lions would cry.

[felidity]

[ oh good, an opening. ] You like both, right? Is that allowed?

[ambitionist]

[he looks a little surprised like omg kali's life tho. :( ] Yeah, I do. And yeah, it's allowed. Don't you ever let someone tell you that you're not allowed to like whoever you want, okay?

[felidity]

Okay. [ she nods a little before dropping her head to rest against his shoulder. ]

[ambitionist]

[he kisses the side of her head, feeling particularly big brotherly towards her right now. kali is a tropical sunfish and must be protected.]

[felidity]

[ perpetually starved for affection, kali greedily soaks it up like a little sponge. it's why alex and malina are so good for her sense of self-worth, because they tell her when she's doing well and reward her with affection even when she might not be doing well, but because she's trying. ]

Can I ask more possibly invasive questions?

[ambitionist]

[he snorts his amusement.] Yeah, sure.

Do you like one more than the other?

[ambitionist]

Not ... really? They both have their pros and cons. Mostly I just see a person I like and I'm like hey, I want to have sex with them. I don't think about the other stuff.

Is it only sex?

[ambitionist]

For me? Yeah.

[felidity]

[ her mouth turns down and she squirms a little, pressing her forehead against his shoulder. ] It's never anything else? Can you just like both and not have sex with both? Do you have to have sex with both before you can say you like both?

[ambitionist]

Um ... yeah. I mean, you can like people and not want to have sex with them. Or you can know that you like one more than the other without having sex. I think you kind of just, know, maybe. I'm probably not the person to talk to about this stuff.
