[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. Sweets is a bit surprised by the joint session, that much is true, but if they want to do this together, then he isn't going to stop them. He takes his legal pad and goes to settle into the seat across from them, looking over them both for a moment, before leaning back in his seat.

"Okay. So what do you guys want to talk about?"

Malia takes a deep breath and glances to Liam. She's pretty sure that they're not going to just back out now.

"All the things we can't tell the people from back home." It seems pretty straightforward, but maybe it's going to need a bit more detail.

"Everyone has forgotten things and the two of us know those things and it's getting weird trying to just keep it from them."

There's a pause. "It's mostly bad things. Dead people bad things."

Liam looks from Malia to Dr. Sweets and nods, as if to back up Malia's claims (as if Sweets wasn't going to take them seriously or something). It wasn't exactly their usual topic of discussion given that he mostly came for advice on his anger issues, but if Sweets was able to help out in one area it only made sense that he could give them some advice about this--or at least share the burden of keeping secrets from everyone.

Sweets totally takes them seriously. The Veil can make things really complicated and that's one of the things he's here to help for. So he just nods slowly, before shifting back to get more comfortable in his seat.

"Okay. Where do you guys want to start? With the ... dead people, or with something less heavy?"

[animalistic]

"Oh, uh..." Malia glances to Liam. Maybe dead people is a good way to start, just to get the big things out of there and then head backwards. Forwards...?

"I guess dead people is good. It's easy. Well, not easy for the dead person, but easier than explaining the other stuff. Allison is dead though. She's here, but back home she was fighting the Oni and she died."

It feels good. Sort of... mostly because it's weird to feel better about talking about someone being dead. "People die a lot in Beacon Hills, but she dated Scott and was a hunter so it was complicated. I don't know all the details, but I know that everyone was upset and that Isaac never came back."

A beat.

"From France."

"Plus, they don't remember us either." Liam is just going to throw that out there. Because why take it slow when you can just lay everything out on the table. Besides, he didn't really know Alison or Isaac so he can't really speak to any of that stuff apart from hearing about it after the fact from people who no longer remember that it ever happened. So it was sort of a weird (confusing) situation to be in.

Yep, totally taking notes. He scribbles down the names and some notes about who these people are so that he can remember it later.

"The Veil can be tricky that way. Frustrating too. I'm sure it hasn't been easy on either of you to have been forgotten like that."

Malia nods at the remark about them not remembering things. That was important to express.

"I didn't think it would be that difficult. I only knew them for less than a year, but they're the only people I know after being in the woods alone for most of my life. I didn't realize how much I needed them until now."

She's not sure she should mention the whole Stiles thing. She's still embarrassed about that one.
