[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

I don't think so. I am supposed to have been euthanized so I assume someone is trying to figure out if the rest of them aren't actually dead, too.

[ there's nothing overly upset about her tone, even admitting she and the other people like her were meant to have been put down before they escaped, it's pretty clinical. but there is something like guilt in her otherwise clear eyes.

she would feel bad if she was the reason the other moreaus were caught and killed. ]

You know, that was pretty cool of you, putting yourself on the line like that. [ especially for a stranger, but he's getting the vibe that that's sort of these people's m.o. he's still not sure how much that fits with his own, but...

he's here now. and plans to make the most of it, which is probably why he follows that up with the oh-so-casual: ] It'd be a real shame, a pretty thing like you getting euthanized.

[ she can't decide it she's supposed to say thank you or you're welcome, so she settles on neither, but offers a sweet smile instead, clearly pleased with the compliment. ]

It's true, I am very pretty. And according to the Princess Bride there is a shortage of perfect breasts in the world. It would be a pity to damage mine.

[starprince]

[ he smirks widely at that, and steals a glance at her boobs good job peter. ] An intergalactic crisis, even.

[ she straightens up a little, but then leans forward. farewell personal space, peter got more than most. ] You really think so?

[starprince]

[ lmfao rolls a... 3 on his will save, amaze. he just leans closer as well, and this time checks her out without any pretense of subtlety. ] I mean, from what I can see of them from here, no doubt.

Has there ever been an intergalactic crisis over perfect breasts or would mine be the first? [ she pretty much wants to hear she would be the first, tbh, but distracts herself with: ] You smell salty.

[starprince]

[ he smirks at that, but his eyes drag down to her lips, as he slings one arm casually across the top of the couch. ] You'd be making history. [ mentioning the salt, he licks his lips briefly, glancing down at the bowl. ] Is that a good thing?

[felidity]

[ she sighs dreamily, she'd be historical. ] I like salt. But I'm weird, so I wouldn't trust my judgment.

[starprince]

Maybe I'm into weird.

[felidity]

Yeah? [ her weight shifts a little, hand snaking up the back of the couch until she can tiptoe her fingers across his arm. those biceps tho. ] Can you tell me about space?

[starprince]

Can I ever. [ he'll just slightly shift in place so he can try to flex said muscles without moving his arm too much. it's probably not as subtle as he would have hoped. ] But space is uh, pretty big. You might have to get more... specific. [ he grins at the word. see what he did there. ]

[felidity]

[ she has a very specific question, but she's momentarily distracted by the shift of his muscles under her fingertips, palm flattening against his arm. ]

Have you been to Pluto? Is it a planet?

[ she's from earth, she has a very narrow worldview of what space actually is. ]

[starprince]

You know, that one never made my flight pattern. But of course it's a planet. What else would it be? [ bless u 80s child ]

[felidity]

It was demoted. [ she bites on her lip and tilts her head. ] Are you sad? A lot of people are sad about that.

[starprince]

Wait, what? What did Pluto ever do to anybody?

[felidity]

I dunno. Well. [ she actually does. not just a pretty face. ] Pluto is considered a dwarf planet and is recognized as the prototype of a new category of trans-Neptunian objects, but dwarf planets are not planets under the International Astronomical Union's 2006 definition.

[starprince]

Yeah, well. Screw those guys.

[ he just looks down at his arms like WHAT OH YOU MEAN THESE??? NO I'M JUST NATURALLY LIKE THIS. /captain hammer ] Well, you've gotta fill those long hours between planets somehow.

[ her head dips in a slow nod like she finds that fascinating, but really she's thinking about what he was yelling about back in mexico and doing math in her head which brings her to the inevitable conclusion of

his arm's already in a great position to slide down around her, fingers tangling through blonde hair as he pulls her closer, groaning a bit with appreciation into the kiss. and with an 18 dex check, he's really earning his stripes over here. ]

[ while relatively inexperienced, comparatively at least, kali takes to kissing like a duck in water. ironic considering her dna cocktail. it's her favorite thing to do. (dex 26) her hands lift to rest against his chest and when she pulls back after a bit, they stay there. ]

I thought you might never have been kissed on Earth and it made me sad.

[ and if that is the case, she gets to be one of his firsts. ]

[ his eyebrows lift before he opens his eyes which is kind of precious, as if he's like BUT WHERE DID THE LIPS GO, but then he looks at her when she comments, his lips quirking up into a smile. ] ... You know, that thought hadn't really crossed my mind, but I guess you'd be the first, yeah. [ his voice has an appealing huskier quality to it now, probably because he got like a 40 charm check, wow that's rude. he doesn't stop winding his fingers through her hair slowly all the while either, and there's a wicked suggestion in his eyes as he adds almost off-handedly: ] I guess that means I've never spent the night with a beautiful woman on Earth either.

[ the only, very small, con to this idea is a little voice in the back of kali's head going "but alex". but then his fingers brush against the back of her neck while he's combing through her hair and that voice is swiftly silenced. he's nice to her and he called her by her name and, well, he is awfully pretty. ]

First time for everything, Star-Lord. [ which is as smooth as she can be before the fabric of his shirt bunches between her fingers, obliterating the space between them, and her lips return to his.
