[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Alec grins as he slides into a seat near her.

His reactions are probably not what she expected. Alec isn't one to give sympathy. Certainly for not getting shot. He gets shot all the time. Though usually he demands some sort of attention from Max. Which kind of makes him a hypocrite. Whatever. He never said he was perfect. That's Max's gig.
"Who says I'll get called up? Maybe I'm just here to make this place look better. Class it up."

"If you ever want to be promoted to an actual knight? You have to go on a mission. I don't promote people without making sure they're field tested first."

The smile on Alec's face pretty much can clue her in that he's not trying to be subtle or even talking about actual field testing.
"Why didn't you just ask? I'd be happy to let you field test me, boss."
