[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

Damn straight. [He grins over the lip of his mug and downs his celebratory grape juice.]

If you wanted some actual wine, we did bring some back from Tuscany.

Mm. [ Buffy makes a sound as she gulps grape juice. ] That's actually a really good point. You have to try it, Des, it's amazing.

Wish you woulda told me that before I got the grape juice.

[Dorks.] Tuscany and everything. You two did take back Italy.

There were some dear friends I wished for Buffy to meet there. And it is never too late for wine.

Well, it was only fair. [ She reasons, smiling widely. ] You know all of mine. [ She looks at Des. ] It's much nicer when you're not being shot at.

Really? I thought the violence gave it a dynamic appeal. [He chuckles and rolls his eyes.] I'm sure it was just about meeting old friends.

[lookin' at you, lover boy.]

Perhaps there were other reasons as well.

[ Making eyes at Rafael, ] Many, many, well-deserved reasons.

[Des looks between them, grins, and says, flat-out] Awwwww.

You could not corner the market on romance forever, amico mio.

No matter how hard you try. How's your kept boyfriend, anyway? Still squirreled away in your safehouse somewhere until the Apocalypse blows over?

I don't remember trying to corner the market. [He definitely remembers telling you two to FUCK ALREADY when he was still mourning Jade. :|] Less squirreled away and more doing what he does best, riding it out. [he shrugs, but he's unable to hide a dopey grin.] He's great. It'd take an act of God to get him to lose his chill.

Either way, I am glad to hear he is safe. We all deserve some peace of mind, I think.

I'll be saving my peace of mind for when it's Blade's head in Alainn's vault.

Sometimes I think our list of enemies only grows. [ time to murder some of them #assassinlyfe ] But their time will come.
