[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

I don't mind changing my shoes, I just don't understand. [So much in this world he doesn't understand. He holds up his left hand.] Still, I'd wager I'm better off at this game than I'd have been a few months ago.

[He snorts a small laugh.]

Yeah, probably. [Does he know how that came about? Hell if I remember.]

I can show you how to play. It can be pretty fun.

[I think they talked about it in their last thread. Unless Neal was too angry to ask.]

Aye? Then lets get our special shoes. Certainly could use a bit of fun lately.

[With a shrug and a nod, Neal heads to get them some god damn special shoes and a couple of balls to go along with them.]

Alright, so the goal is to knock down all of those pins with the ball. Just don't cross the line there with your feet. Other than that, go nuts.

[unhand]

And we roll the ball, right? [Because throwing it seems like it wouldn't work to well. He steps forward and sets the ball rolling.

Predictably, for somewone who's never bowled a day in his life, the ball veers to the side and ends up in the gutter.]

Yeah, you roll it. [He says with a small laugh, which only starts up again once Hook gets a gutterball.]

Take a step to the right. And focus on that arrow there. [He points.] You may have to put more power behind it too.

[unhand]

[Killian looks dubious, but he picks up another ball and attempts again. The ball doesn't exactly go straight, but it does manage to knock two pins over this time. On the very edge. He glances over at Neal, grinning triumphantly.] Not so hard as it seems, is it?

[fuckingneal]

[He chuckles.] Yeah, it's not that hard. [He takes his ball and gets a god damn 18 on his dex check. Watch them pins fall down, son.]

[unhand]

[Killian crosses his arms, smirking slightly.] Aye, well, I suppose you're a bit more practiced than I am. But I'll get the hang of it.

I didn't figure you were the type to make excuses.

Is that how it is? [Killian steps up and takes a ball from the queue. Is it even his turn yet? We just don't know. Probably not. He's a rebel who doesn't know care about the rules.

His dex check of 8, however, fails to impress. That'd be another gutter ball.]

There a problem with that? [He tosses back with a raised eyebrow.] It's just a little friendly competition, right?

[unhand]

Course not. I never back down from a challenge. [Even if this sport seems utterly ridiculous and hard.]

We could always make it interesting. [Wanna bet on the game, buddy?]

[unhand]

[This is a terrible idea. There is nothing about this bet Killian could possibly win, but he still raises his eyebrows.] How interesting are you thinking?

I'd say money, but since Wynn's paying your way these days, I don't know if that's good enough.

Clever lad. [Killian grins.] Then we'll have to make it more interesting.
