[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. [He then pauses to gesture to the seat across from him.]

[She'd probably be more comfortable with not being here at all but at least she manages not to say that. (WS 21)

With a nod she moves towards the seat but doesn't fold herself into it immediately, lingering for a moment before blurting out the thoughts currently streaming through her head.]

This isn't going to be one of those things where you like, answer questions with questions is it? Or like, I tell you something and you just ask me how that makes me feel?

I will probably wind up doing both of those things, but I promise that it will be with purpose, and it will not be the only thing I do. Personally, I find that realizations about yourself are usually more valuable if you're the one discovering them on your own, rather than having me tell you.

But mostly I'm just here to give you someone objective to talk to. Kind of like a sounding board.

[She regards him for another long moment, trying to decide if his honesty makes up for the fact that he's going to do the question-y thing.]

Fair enough. [She at least can admit she appreciates the explanation and slides into the seat.

It doesn't take much to tell that she's not entirely comfortable with this, sitting back as if resigned to being here and yet she has her arms folded across her chest as if to protect herself and her leg starts to jiggle, in part because she can't sit still by nature but also because she kind of wants this to be over before it's even begun.]

So do you get like, files on us or something or do you only know what I decide to tell you?

I'm briefed on all the missions you've been on, but as far as your personal life goes, I'll only know what you tell me. You can share as much or as little as you like, but if I think you're holding something back, I might ask for you to share it.

That being said, everything in here stays between us unless you say otherwise.
