[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

My family did Chinese food for Christmas, so after awhile I decided to petition for Chinese for Thanksgiving, too. I got it for a couple years. It was awesome.

The worst thing about living here is being so far from Chinese and curry.

Right? I hate having to drive out for good ethnic food. [/spoiled new yorker.] Sometimes I have half a mind to just get my own place in London ... but I like my set-up here. [aka the set-up where he basically lives in a safe-house. i mean the balcony in his room is nice and all but.....]

The distinct lack of rent has a certain appeal as well. My parents had a house... twenty minutes away? If you ever want to order take away, you can have it delivered there. Forty minutes round trip instead of two hours?

You mean there's something twenty minutes out besides farmland and horses and shit?

A cottage that hasn't had electricity for twenty years, yeah. I don't think it's that far... but I have not been there since I was seven.

You really think any place'll deliver out that far? That's still basically the boonies.

Of course, you just have to offer to pay more. I'm sure someone has had a pizza delivered here before.

Seems like a whole security breach thing to me. Although, I guess we do get mail.

I think it stops at the London headquarters and is sent here? I've never seen a mailman.

I guess I never thought about it that much. Don't really get much mail.

Offer still stands for the pizza, at least.

Cool, cool, but the kitchen staff does okay on that front.

Uh, a year and some change. Something like that.

Is it true there was a talking raccoon? [ gossip, yo, it focuses on the important things. ]

Yeah, I wasn't on his team or anything, though. He's a little jackass with a Brooklyn accent.

[ sage nod. ] I never would have pegged Mark as King of Andres.

[ mostly because they're the same age and that's insane???? ]

Eh ... yeah, I guess he doesn't look like much, huh.

We're the same age. I can't run a fucking country... Solace, maybe. Solace could run a country.
