[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[ her nose wrinkles delicately. ] That's gross. There is still a stain on the carpet in front of the desk from the last sample that dripped its entrails behind you while we were looking for a bin to put it in.

[Malina gives a shrug because she doesn't mind the gross. Probably because she's used to it by now.]

I think it gives the rug character.

[ a laugh bubbles up, even as winter shakes her head. ] Must we keep talking over... [ she plucks a pen off the desk and pokes at the specimin. ] This? Wine! Wine would be better.

Wine would be much better! Just give me a second to put this away and I will meet you in the bar?

Sounds good. [ with another smile, she bounces off to the bar where she will be settled in a booth with a bottle of red wine and two glasses when malina arrives. ]

[And Malina will arrive, specimen free, and slide into the booth across from her.]

So what are you doing back in London? I thought you were staying in France for reasons.

[Very serious reasons and she hopes that everything is okay.]

Pare and I couldn't really take care of Avi anymore, so we got him better help and I guess Pare was sick of having me around so he told me to come back. [ she shrugs, mostly unperturbed. her grandad is old, he had a long life, the only part that really bothers her is that his memory was causing him to lose some of that life. ]

He is doing really well now with people his own age though. And people that actually know how to play pinochle.

[She smirks a bit at that as she reaches for her wine.]

I'm sure that he is more than grateful for the company. So you're looking to be back in the thick of things again, I take it?

I am. France is lovely, but the office is so boring.

Well, I am sure we will have more than enough here to keep you busy. Things have been going non-stop lately, it seems like.

And the castle is huge. I always forget how many people are here.

Getting bigger every day. And drawing in more interesting people too - it's ... gotten very eclectic.
