Talk about a soiree. The team has walked into what is clearly legitimately a Gatsby party, but with an Indian flair. Even upon approach, it's easy to see that this place is without parallel: people are driving cars right up on the lawn of the fabulous mansion, which looks half-modern and half like a palace out of a Bollywood film. Men and women in bright colors, fabrics, beads and silks move inside en masse, and as the doors are opened before them, they can see the grandness of the interior, with its diamond garland, draped fabrics, giant jeweled elephant statues, indoor trees that arch to the ceilings, twirling dancers, and a tall dramatic staircase leading up to a balcony above where the host himself reclines surrounded by admirers and friends, smoking a cigar.
Liquor flows freely, and food is carried around on golden trays through the crowds. It's an overwhelming buffet for the senses, a dizzying spectacle of color, laughter, dancing, and entertainment.

is in russia
... maybe it's trollin'.
thor crit failed his knowledge (shit jane and darcy talked about) check and doesn't remember what gps is so. ] Be cautious if you attempt to scry on him. Loki knows more of magic than most.

[ He trails a bit though because no, that can't be right, can it? But then stranger things have happened. He puts his fingers on the map, doing a two finger iPhone style zoom into the little blip. ]
Russia. He's taken her to Russia.
[ And he offers the phone out for others to see. Take a look for yourself, people. ]

So we go to Russia.
[And with that he'll take his phone back, but he also knows that Russia is enormous.]
Is it being more specific than that or are we going to have to search the entire country?
[Not to say he won't do it, but he wants to know what he's in for.]

The land of Natasha's people. [ he got a nat 20 to remember, aren't you impressed when they had like zero cr in the movie :') ] He means some mischief there. Tell me: what value is in this treasure he sought?

Well I'd say we're not leaving without her, but it looks like Elvis has already left the building. We should contact the people back in London. Do they have anyone stationed in Russia? There's no point us traipsing over there, by the time we get there they could be long gone, and a game of cat and mouse really isn't about to help anything.
[ God he hates not having the TARDIS. He doesn't like this, not one bit; he doesn't leave people behind. ]

But getting Natasha back was the priority, so finding out if there's a team in Moscow that could at least narrow down the where while they flew there is a good place to start if nothing else.
Damnit.]
I'll make the call.
[But if he tries to take them off the mission, there's going to be a problem. And with that, he'll step off to the side to call the boss.]

Somebody seriously has nothing more to add than a very dark look a very tense stance.]

[ he looks up at the ceiling, starting to twirl his hammer. ] With Mjolnir's aid, I can fly there with great speed. [ yes, Thor, the Russian government monitoring airspace will love that. ]

Right. So. Not usually one to ask for a taxi service, but what's the chances of you offering a few lifts? Because I don't really care how we get there, but trust me, we're getting there.

I would caution you that my brother has taken lives before without mercy. You would all be placing yourselves in great peril.

Your way of getting there? Can I assume it's under the radar?

I'll be taking you up on that plus one then.
[Yeah she knows it's not going to be that easy but this is the spy school version of Dibs before the arguments start.]
no subject
Look, can you make a few trips?
no subject
You have no other form of conveyance?

BUT STILL NO BCUZ MANNERS.]
Seriously, Felicia. This is our people, our mission [
my hot adonis dude]. Contribute something useful or see yourself out the door. And no, we don't, or else we'd be out of here by now. That's what he [he motions over to david] is looking into right now, to see if we have people over there already. But I'm betting it's gonna be a long shot.(no subject)
