[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. If it helps, that was just a ruse to convince the people who hate Shadowkind that Blade was on their side.

I don't think it's called a ruse anymore if thousands of people die. That's just hating Shadowkind.

Actually with him, it's more about not caring about the collateral, I think.

Is that "actually" supposed to make it better or worse? Because it sounds like this guy is in serious need of being taken out. How do people not know about this? Wouldn't it be better to just spread the word, get the truth to as many people as fast as possible?

Mostly? Because no one's going to believe it. Magic on the scale of what we're talking about ... that just doesn't exist. It's power coming from a god that most of the people of this world think can't even be real. Gods who usually don't have that kind of influence in this world. He needs to go, but even if we could talk governments into backing that play, they're gonna wanna run that show themselves, and it's going to just get more people killed. They don't comprehend what we're up against.
