[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[He will look over toward a nearby shelf if there is one, extend a hand toward it, and try and use far hand to pull an object towards him. A book, maybe?]

[ yep, it zips right over, and she follows its progress with her eyes ] ... I definitely don't see any problems from this end. So the question becomes, how do we help you practice in a high stress setting without putting you or someone else in danger?

I'm not sure if that's even possible.

[How can it be high stress if it's not dangerous? He thinks for a moment.]

Outside of harmless pain, maybe? Like if I had to try and produce the same effects while being exposed to painful but harmless electric shocks. But if you've got better ideas, I'm all ears, because even if it's not going to hurt me, that doesn't mean I won't do something that will hurt someone near me.

Well, that depends on how risky you're willing to make this training.

I have friends here who could... summon something. Some sort of monster - a real threat.

And then I...what? Deal with it without normal weapons?

[He's not sure how good of an idea that is but it's not like there won't be people around to deal with the problem if he can't manage it.]

The danger would be very real. But if things got out of hand, it wouldn't be anything the rest of us couldn't handle.
