Talk about a soiree. The team has walked into what is clearly legitimately a Gatsby party, but with an Indian flair. Even upon approach, it's easy to see that this place is without parallel: people are driving cars right up on the lawn of the fabulous mansion, which looks half-modern and half like a palace out of a Bollywood film. Men and women in bright colors, fabrics, beads and silks move inside en masse, and as the doors are opened before them, they can see the grandness of the interior, with its diamond garland, draped fabrics, giant jeweled elephant statues, indoor trees that arch to the ceilings, twirling dancers, and a tall dramatic staircase leading up to a balcony above where the host himself reclines surrounded by admirers and friends, smoking a cigar.

Liquor flows freely, and food is carried around on golden trays through the crowds. It's an overwhelming buffet for the senses, a dizzying spectacle of color, laughter, dancing, and entertainment.

[David barely even flinches at the punch, despite it hitting, because he's a freaking Viking, but he let Alex K. do his diplomacy thing because even if he doesn't give a crap about the decanter anymore - they can smash it for all he cares, at least it won't hurt anyone - he knows that exploding at the Udinov princess won't get him Natasha back (will save 22). That's all he actually cares about at the moment.

So with a silent glare of don't do that again, he turns back to Thor to try and get back to the matter at hand.]

[It reeeeally doesn't seem like a good time for fighting people on the same side as you. Andie frowns, bouncing on the balls of her feet, and looks between the two of them, then back at Thor.]

And Loki. Any idea where he might go next?

[ WOW FUCKERS LET THE GOD TALK. he doesn't really flinch when alex cold cocks david, because he lives in asgard with people like sif, this is sunday breakfast. he does, however, seem to see reason in other-alex's entreaty. ]

[ trailing off, as he paces past them, glaring up the steps once more, before finally turning to take them all in ] Is prone to letting his worser nature take hold of him. [ and to andie, he shakes his head slightly, frustrated ] I trailed him to this realm upon returning to Asgard and learning of his latest treachery. This Midgard is unlike that which I have known - a splinter realm, where things are familiar and yet strange to me.

[while thor takes his turn on the exposition soap box, alex is going to subtly take thor's pic (and fail at the subtle part — sleight of hand 10) with his phone and text it to lila along with his declaration that it's his new life goal to tap that. sorry y'all his dick has needs.]

Fine by me. [Still with a touch of attitude but other dude does make a whole lot of sense right now and it's enough to see Alex turn her gaze on the Adonis in the room, despite a make me eyebrow raise at David first.]

[ Thor ignores the photo op because he's used to that shit, and frowns as he considers Alex's question. ] Loki desires to rule - and he's had his chance taken from him once more. It would not be unheard of him for him to conspire with others, but he left Asgard alone, and has alienated many who would have once stood by him.

I am not certain he is interested in sharing the power he craves.

More importantly, can you trace him? You followed him here, and I'm guessing where you came from isn't on the local bus route.

I could merely follow the path Loki had taken to this world - which led me here. Now that he is within this realm, his trail is lost to me.

But I can assure you: he will not be returning to Asgard any time soon.

I'm just running a trace. Boosting the GPS signal to try and get a more accurate reading. See if we can find where she is, and maybe get in contact with her. Open a channel without Loki noticing.
