[ during the winter months, vi is sort of elusive. at least elusive if you don't know to look in her bedroom or in the room that formerly belonged to luthir.

she forgoes her duties in the cleric's wing to sleep, she ignores anyone that needs to be certified for the excalibur because fred can do that so she can stay in bed, she makes friends with some of the castle workers because they bring her food in bed when she's not feeling up to trudging to the kitchen. there is a pattern here and it involves vi's incredible reluctance to come out from underneath the covers.

although sometimes she disappears completely and cannot be found for a few hours, not even under the covers. ]

[Felicity makes a point of going to Vi instead of Vi coming to her during the winter, just because she knows it's easier on her that way. She also knows that there are days when she just really doesn't want to people, which is fair enough, but she always checks, just to be sure.

If anything, they can hang out and watch a movie. Not a lot of talking involved there. Felicity just wants to make sure she wasn't alone.

The time that she shows up now, however, Vi happens to be out. Which is good! She wants her to be out and about in the world. However, given that she doesn't know where she is or when she'll be back she's just going to ... wait in Vi's room for her to show up.

And maybe take a nap.

It's a good way to kill time, okay?]

[ vi wanders back eventually and when she sees felicity napping, she ducks out again, returning with a bowl of chocolate ice cream and two spoons. she nudges her friend with her knee as she clambers, ungainly, on to the bed, sitting up by her pile of pillows.

she's still in her pjs -- a chicago cubs hoodie and blue striped pants -- even though it's the freakin' afternoon. though in her defense she did change, she just changed from pjs into different pjs. ]

Wake up, sleepyhead, I come bearing gifts.

[It takes her a moment but eventually she does stir, blinking her eyes open because clearly she did not mean to fall asleep, but that apology is quickly sidebared by ooooh ice cream.]

And it's not even my birthday.

I'm just a genuinely nice human being and a beacon of the compassion found in humanity, really. I almost let you keep sleeping.

[ but she's having a not bad day. it's not good, but it's not bad. she's grateful for the company since she seems to exist in a bubble of depression most people don't want to enter. ]

Well, I am glad you didn't do that. I do not need to throw off my sleep schedule. I don't even think I meant to fall asleep in the first place.

[Vi's bed is clearly just super comfortable.]

This is a sleepy making room. [ it's all the chamomile and lavender flowers she has in here, tbh. it's a very soothing place. ]

[She nods a bit, but she will force herself up into a sitting position for awake time now.]

What have you been up today? Since clearly my exploits are not that entertaining.

I hunted down the lone Dunkin Donuts in all of England. Now if only they would get a Tim Horton's... I ate all the donuts on the way home and got loads of scathing looks like oh my god should a woman in her delicate condition even be driving. There was almost a brief moment of cinematic road rage and I almost murdered someone with a hatchet, but I didn't have a hatchet, so they got off.

Lucky fucker.

[She laughs a bit at that.]

Moral of the story: Always carry a hatchet.

[ ... No, no Felicity that's not the moral of the story.]

Basically. I'm also getting shady looks because I look like I should be on an episode of Teen Mom. People are judgy hos. [ which is only acceptable when she is being the judgy ho. ]

[Felicity rolls her eyes.]

People are always going to judge things based on what they can see. It's dumb, but it's human nature. I wouldn't let them bother you unless you intend on shoving your birth certificate into all of their faces to prove you're an acceptable age to be having a child.

Well, that would only work if I had a birth certificate. Alas, gods probably don't do that. What with the birth being all mystical and not in a hospital. [ a beat. ] I wonder how that actually works?

[She frowns for a moment as she makes a face, because Greek gods she apparently knows some stuff about (knowledge mythology 15).]

What, you think you just ... popped out of her head like Athena and Zeus?

[Makes an even bigger face.]

Do you think she ate your dad?

No! No, I mean... shit, she might have? It doesn't feel like she did, but who the fuck knows. Bitches be cray cray. I'm pretty sure she gave birth to me though, like in a meadow, in a shower of glowing lights and rose petals, it was very gay, it might explain a few things about me.

[She laughs.]

I think that does. Not bad things, mind you, but certainly things.

Everyone keeps telling me that I'm going to give birth normally and I just feel like something is missing and I think it's the gayness. I need more gay.

I'm sure that could be arranged.

[Frankly, Vi is the one giving birth. She should be able to have whatever she wants.]

What form would you like your gay to take?

A shower of glitter. Maybe Cher. Lance Bass as my labor coach. [ lance bass tho. ]

I will get on that. I'm fairly certain my people know Lance Bass's people.

[They don't but she's fairly certain that there might be a couple Knightly strings to be pulled somewhere.]

Mmm, see, with Lance I might be able to survive. Lance and drugs and a bucket of glitter. We'll need to buy some glitter.

I will buy it in bulk. Do you want a variety of colors?

Yes, please. I feel like a rainbow of glitter colors would make it super ultra gay.
