[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

I'd hate to see the mission-related time-off requests. Felicity said people can't tell anyone about their work here if they're not on the inside.

He's from a really old book. The guy sews together a bunch of pieces he gets from dead guys, strikes it with lightning, and it comes to life.

I'm sorry, is any part of that supposed to sound friendly and reassuring? [ She stops dead, looking back at him. wE ARE IN A CREEPY FUCKING DUNGEON, QUILL. YOU DON'T NEED TO HELP THE AMBIENCE ALONG. ]

I guess. Around here, they call it "squiring." Which fits the theme. [ She shrugs, accepting it. ]

I dunno. Well. [ she actually does. not just a pretty face. ] Pluto is considered a dwarf planet and is recognized as the prototype of a new category of trans-Neptunian objects, but dwarf planets are not planets under the International Astronomical Union's 2006 definition.

Uh, yeah, and I'm currently prowling through their totally creepy dungeon. I would like to not add murder and beheading to my mental model for this experience. [ She swats him on the arm and moves past him to keep exploring the cells. ] Bad enough it's a literal dungeon.

Uh, Sir Kali. She's with the Hide. Whatever that means.

That's what the internet says, too. Do you work out? [ idk how those two concepts are related either. ]

I haven't met her, but those assigned to Hide are generally the fighters. Sort of like how a Dragon's Hide can help protect the dragon from the elements. It's an interesting way to partition everyone out.

Pretty sure they don't come to the Castle that often.

[As in they're probably said contacts in those departments, and are sending reports back to Wynn.]

The Knights wouldn't be very good at knowing what's going on out there if we just all stayed in one place. But honestly, that's just a guess. I dropped straight into my mission through the Veil and haven't been on another one since. I've spent more time doing that then actually here.

[Other than that...time she spent on the run. Shhh.]
