The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

Not by half. [ jacques mumbles: "I cannot believe we are here, supporting that merde embulante." robin flashes him a Look, and dumage decides that's quite enough of this fun time, taking the opportunity to pull away from her and start towards the hall. ] We'll talk later, after the wedding.

[Elena takes that opportunity to offer Dumage her arm again so they can both get the fuck out of this situation.

She waits til they are far out of earshot before she murmurs.]

Says the person who doesn't remember what it's like to have parents. [ dumage shoots back tensely, as they move down the hall, where some guy is chatting up a blonde woman who seems to be smiling politely and kind of waiting for an out to disengage from the conversation, but they do overhear what he's saying (definitely in english) as they move past ]

[this bitch right over here, gesticulating with a half full wine glass.] ... And I'm saying to the guy, "Relax, man, it might have been the humidity... or the dampness." Whatever the hell they have in England. Hell if I know. But you know Europeans. They're uptight.

[he takes a sip from his wine glass, blinks at the woman as if only just seeing her for the first time, and adds:] Sorry. Where did you say you were from?

[Elena raises a single brow at her.]

Ouch.

[Except she doesn't sound particularly pressed about it at all, so there's that. Meanwhile, she catches that conversation, head turning slightly towards the noise, but she literally...had no idea what he's going on about. She'll keep listening as they move, in case the blonde sheds some light on something or catches her attention for some reason.]

[her dead silence (because she probably doesn't even speak english lbr) is just further invitation to keep talking.]

Anyway, the point is I'm not the bad guy here. But I mean if he's looking to have an ex-wife as vengeful as my ex-wives? He's definitely on the right track. Between me and you.

[ that comment draws a look from dumage, who glances back at elena and then nods at her subtly to try and see what she can find out from him while she reaches the door into the changing area. ] I'll be right out. [ it's about that moment that the blonde starts trying to excuse herself by pointing at her empty glass ]

[She just nods and gestures for her to go ahead. Gar told her to keep an eye on her, but they were bound to get separated from time to time regardless, and talking to Amanda is a necessity. Dumage's date butting in would be weird, anyway.

She'll take her cue though and head over to the loud gentleman, grabbing a drink off a passing waiter with a tray as she does.]

[Elena pulls her mind back the moment after Kitty steps into her field of vision, raising her glass and giving her a single nod in greeting.]
