WHAT || The Knights hunt the Decanter of Dionysus
WHERE || New Delhi, India

HOW || Actionspam. Single thread.
Talk about a soiree. The team has walked into what is clearly legitimately a Gatsby party, but with an Indian flair. Even upon approach, it's easy to see that this place is without parallel: people are driving cars right up on the lawn of the fabulous mansion, which looks half-modern and half like a palace out of a Bollywood film. Men and women in bright colors, fabrics, beads and silks move inside en masse, and as the doors are opened before them, they can see the grandness of the interior, with its diamond garland, draped fabrics, giant jeweled elephant statues, indoor trees that arch to the ceilings, twirling dancers, and a tall dramatic staircase leading up to a balcony above where the host himself reclines surrounded by admirers and friends, smoking a cigar.
Liquor flows freely, and food is carried around on golden trays through the crowds. It's an overwhelming buffet for the senses, a dizzying spectacle of color, laughter, dancing, and entertainment.

this touching moment of speculation and shit is interrupted by the sudden distant sound of thunder, and then a strange crackling that grows louder and louder, before abruptly, a wave of electricity sparks out across the floor, and in a flash of blue light a figure is standing several feet behind them.
he comes to standing from a crouch as a few final bolts dance up and down the length of his arm, and the hilt of the giant fucking hammer he's holding in his hand. he comes to an impressive height when he unfolds himself, about 6'6", and his long blonde hair looking wind-swept as he tilts his head up to take in the scene around him with a scowl. determination flashes in his eyes as they narrow, taking in the chaotic aftermath of loki's wake. it's hard to miss the fact that he's decked out in full battle armor, and a flashy red cape, either.
after glaring at the broken case at the top of the steps for a moment, he turns to demand of them all with the sort of entitlement only an asgardian prince can manage: ] Where is Loki?
no subject
He looks at him. He looks at the hammer. He's seen a hammer like it before, and while he's never met Thor - Ka Anor at him before he could have that particular pleasure - it still doesn't take much for him to put two and two together (theology 23).]
You gotta be fucking kidding me.
[Yeah. He's just done.]
no subject
Um. Holy crap. Hi? You look like you've got a whole lot of muscles.

[They were there for it too. But he's not going to give that away right off the bat. He doesn't know anything about Thor. From what he knows about Loki, him having a mind control decanter is bad any way you slice it. But Thor is an unknown entity and he's not going to put that decanter in his hands.]
The name Romanoff mean anything to you?
[Let him think he's after Natasha. That answers more questions that they don't have yet, and keeps him away from their original objective.]
no subject
his face says that's the last thing he expected to hear in a thousand fucking years ] Natasha?
no subject
no subject
[ No, it isn't, and this is sarcasm. The Doctor is not enjoying today, okay. Even if that's Thor standing there which okay is more than a bit cool, but that's beyond the point. ]
You've followed him here, so you must have known he was coming. But you've got no idea at all what for?
no subject
With a huff she folds her arms over her chest. Patience. She has none right now.]
He's not invisible he's gone and he was after a decanter. [Sorry bro. She doesn't care about keeping secrets.] Pretty sure Red was just a bonus. [Turning on Thor.] Now will you at least tell me who the hell you are?!
no subject
But fine, whatever. Cat's out of the bag.]
That, Princess, is Thor. At least if the hammer is anything to go by. And why the hell are you still here?
[He crosses his arms in front of his chest as he stares down at her, though he's also trying not to take his attention off the guy across the room for too long (intimidate 12).]
Don't you have a press conference to milk?
no subject
no subject
Yeah... [No. She's just done playing 'Alexandra Udinov' for the night.
Alex gives an infinitesimal shake of her head...
And then proceeds to punch David in the face. (Atk 18 Dmg 4).]
That's for calling me Princess, jackass. I'm here because some very bad people are after that decanter so maybe, we could get a little less attitude - we'll get a few more answers and you - [Yeah she means you Alex K.] I got a thong riding up my ass right now and I really don't want to go round two with you so why don't you back off.
[Somebody... really doesn't sound at all like the party girl socialite anymore.]

So with a silent glare of don't do that again, he turns back to Thor to try and get back to the matter at hand.]
You said you know Natasha.
no subject
And Loki. Any idea where he might go next?
no subject
Natasha is a friend. [ that's the easy one. his expression clouds a bit as he adds: ] And Loki... [ trailing off, as he paces past them, glaring up the steps once more, before finally turning to take them all in ] Is prone to letting his worser nature take hold of him. [ yeah let's just say that for now ] Whatever he desires from this decanter, you can be certain it does not bode well.
[ and to andie, he shakes his head slightly, frustrated ] I trailed him to this realm upon returning to Asgard and learning of his latest treachery. This Midgard is unlike that which I have known - a splinter realm, where things are familiar and yet strange to me.

Could he be working with somebody else? [A beat.] If he is, we can probably use that to figure out where he's gone with Red and the decanter. (Wisdom 22)
no subject
I am not certain he is interested in sharing the power he craves.
no subject
More importantly, can you trace him? You followed him here, and I'm guessing where you came from isn't on the local bus route.
no subject
But I can assure you: he will not be returning to Asgard any time soon.
no subject
If we can't track him, maybe we can track her? Isn't there a GPS or something in her phone?
[He's been spending a lot of time catching up technology wise, apparently (wisdom 19).]

Someone pass me a phone. [ Yeah it doesn't matter if he has his own, give him yours okay. ]
